In 2011, Blaine and Corie Walters were engaged to be married and unsuccessful in finding the perfect place to outfit their wedding party and themselves. The couple realized they were not just searching for a bridal/tux store, but rather, a wedding experience.     Combining Blaine’s retail background and Corie’s pageant history, the two set out on a quest to develop an environment where brides and grooms alike would feel special, have wonderful selections, and enjoy their wedding-attire shopping experience.

 

 

 

 

Following their dream, Blaine and Corie traveled to New York Bridal Market
and brought back hundreds of
beautiful gowns. They also purchased House of Tux, a staple since 1973,
and moved the business to a
gorgeous building located in the
heart of Historic Downtown Columbus, Mississippi. This combination created The Bride & Groom:
Bridal Boutique and House of Tux.

 

The Bride & Groom opened its doors in January of 2012 and has since
provided hundreds of customers from
all over with the experience they
deserve for the day they have
always dreamed!
